Night out
I have a 3 month old. I went out from 7pm-11pm the other night. I breastfed him and I pumped like 2oz before I left. I set out 1oz bottle that was frozen and he wouldn’t eat it but he ate the 2oz. My mom said he was really fussy and seems like he just wanted the boob. It just worries me he only ate 2oz or is that normal? He breastfed all night every 2 hours which he usually sleeps good.

My little one drinks freshly pumped milk fine but often turns his nose up when I thaw some out the freezer. Not sure if I’m just not getting the temperature right or it tastes different
Very little still so it could have spooked him, you being gone, so he needed you every two hours to feel safe and secure again.
@Stacie it broke my heart all night. I don’t want to leave him ever again.
@Chelsea id wager he felt the very same, only with a bit of confusion. Babies are intelligent they know when their moma bear is gone. When my babies are bran new I can just barely handle two hours and it’s only if it’s absolutely necessary lol. 💕💕

Did you or your mom try the thawed milk? I've heard that if you have high liapse it only tastes good fresh. Thawed tastes like soap. But oz wise that's very normal amount. Breastfed babies don't need a lot like formula do.
