I tried getting my baby to take breast milk from a bottle and he refused every time. He’ll only take a bottle if it’s formula
My baby wouldn't have a bottle at all, he's been breastfed since he wa born and he's now nearly two and a half
For me I can't give him the bottle myself. Someone else has to or else he will reject it since he could have it straight from the tap 😅. Another thing to make sure it nice and warm.
I use my daughter’s tum tum cup as she’s the same, won’t take breastmilk from a bottle. Game changer!😂xx
Sameee. If im not home to breastfeed my husband uses a small silicone open cup that works for us sometimes. Otherwise he will just put breastmilk or formula into some infant oatmeal and get it to the baby that way lol.
@Savannah it’s worth a try at this point! lol I have a small training cup that has a straw and you can squeeze it help baby learn to suck from the straw and he is learning to drink water from it. Gonna also try breast milk lol
I’m so glad to know im not alone! Thank you ladies! I’m gonna keep trying to figure this out lol
Had the same issue with my eight months old boy. But the key really is - perseverance!! If the baby took one bottle or cup, stick with it. My boy took the tommee tippee natural start but drinks well from sippy and straw cup. Good luck xx
Perseverance. We practiced over a few weeks, once a day until she got the hang of it.
My baby is 1 in 2 weeks and point blank refused a bottle! He wont even drink pumped milk from his sippy/straw/open cup either only from the boobie😥
My middle child liked Mam and Philips Avent. My 3rd baby hates anything not the boob. He knows it's not fresh and let's me know, immediately let's me know how unacceptable it is to him.
Also - what size nipple is on your bottles? You might want to double check the flow for his age now as i didnt do this and am just realizing he should be using size 4 bottle nipples and i am behind!
I’m exactly the same I need to know as well 😂😂
