What’s everyone’s take on this? My LO is 11 weeks and I’m desperate for a trim, it will be an hour long appointment. My hairdresser has much more availability in the week so I’m tempted to book and take her with me, but don’t know if this is generally accepted or if I should wait to book a weekend appt where I can leave her at home with dad 🤔
If I can take her, what’s best in terms of pram/in arms/car seat etc?
Sorry if stupid questions but it’s all new to me!

Take them with you! If needs feeding feed them. Take some toys/musicals with you x

I’d ask the hairdresser directly as some are ok with it and some aren’t! Also they may want to allow extra time for the appointment if you bring your little one in case you need to feed them or hold them etc. so good to mention it!

I would ask first just to be on the safe side as you don’t want to get turned away because it’s not something they’re ok with and you may get charged for your appointment. I know my hairdresser isn’t a fan of children so I would never but there are plenty that wouldn’t mind. Just best putting it out there x

My hairdresser offered - mine doesn’t like the pram so he sat on my lap and I BF so could do that while she dried my hair x

I’ve started going to a hairdressers that specifically offers appointments on a certain day for mums who need to have babies/children with them. The hairdressers don’t care and the other people getting hair done are in the same boat! I thought it was such a great idea for them to do although I don’t know how tied you are to your hairdresser and how you’d find out if anyone does that wherever you are x

I took my girl with me and she was fast asleep in her car seat (it lies flat)
