@Ruth i find buggy boards to be such a hassle as you can’t push the stroller properly.. but it might just have to do .. do you have any recommendations please xx
@Kirsty ah I don't sorry lovely. I just have one child but had heard they were good. You might find your oldest won't mind walking everywhere by then. Xx
Took a double buggy on 2 holidays with my 2 boys (the most recent being last month) and absolutely worth it for us. Lots of days out where eldest gets tired of walking and doesn’t want to stand up, so didn’t want to take the buggy board, and occasions where he also fell asleep after long days out or in the evenings etc.
I don’t have 2 little ones But we’re planning to take my little ones pram on holiday in August with us!
@Chloe yeahhh my boy is a tired boy .. I defo know he would be tired, do you have any recommendations please ? xx
@Kirsty I have a baby jogger city mini, it’s fantastic, but expensive new and probably not worth the investment if your eldest is nearly 4 already. I got mine off FB marketplace though, in amazing condition but a fraction of the cost, but how much we’ve used it I probably would have got my moneys worth buying new!!
@Chloe thank you so much, I’ll definitely look into getting one on Facebook or renting it.. as I am keen to get him to start walking more 😭
We have a lascal buggy board. They tend to be fairly universal, but you can check on their website for compatibility with every buggy. As above, worth looking out for these on FB marketplace, as they do often come up on good condition. We have one which has a seat too, which my almost 4 year old does use (I have a 1 year old too). However if we are out as a family, she just wants her dad to carry her on his shoulders, so doesn't get used much then. We are trying to encourage her to walk more when we can!
I went on holiday last year with a 3 year old and a 1 year old, and my eldest walked the whole time. She’s not used a pushchair since around 2.5 years old.
When we traveled last year my one year old was around 9 months and toddler was 2. Hmm I didn’t take the pushchair and it was even more comfortable for move around with it. My toddler can walk long walk so it wasn’t a problem
Are you planning on doing tons of walking? Or is just for the evenings going out? If it’s just for evenings I’d take one and it might mean someone has to carry a child but it’ll be cheaper than getting a new buggy x
@Laura it’s a huge all inclusive park which I’m sure will involves lots of walking & also my eldest hates the heat so I know he’s gonna nap 😭
@Ife I need to start training mine 😂😂😂 because walking he’s just not about it like that
We only have one child but we’re taking a pushchair to Turkey in June, mainly for the airport as we have night flights & there’s a lot of standing, & also for nighttime’s in the hotel, last year he slept in his pushchair whilst we had a drink etc. they’re also great to transport towels/bags/inflatables down to the pool too 🤣

@Sophie this is what I’m thinking, my partner is trying to tell me we aren’t going to need it but I know we will regret it if we don’t 😂😂
We took our girl to Turkey in April so she was only 3.5 years old without a pushchair.. and she did well. Sometimes, she would ask her dad to carry her if it involved alot of walking.. but she was fine without a pushchair.
@sв I defo wish my boy was like that 😭😭 I think I will just rent the pushchair at this point I don’t want to regret it 😂😂😂
Let eldest walk or get a buggy board to attach to buggy for them to stand on if tired of walking? Xx
