Would you share information with your kids dad ??

I would always share photos and things like health, especially if coparenting or in a custody battle.

Shows that you are not being obstructive and you can always tell your child when older that you kept the door open for contact.

I totally understand, I’d find it heartbreaking to know my baby isn’t getting the attention they deserve but the basics should be mentioned.

Things like any medical issues for sure. I wouldn’t send things every day and I’d protect my baby from the heartbreak too but I wouldn’t have it said about me that I stopped the contact. So Xmas photo with Santa, big achievements like finishing school and any health stuff I’d share. It’s on him to respond and a court to see that the communication was open, if you ever need legal intervention xx

If he’s actively in the child’s life then yeah other than that no
I used to send my bd videos pics etc he was like ‘wow’ in a sarcastic way 🙄
He’s no longer in my child’s life thankfully

All i know is if the parent or even other family etc don’t appreciate your child and their growth dont bother show them anything let them miss out

If someone genuinely cares you’ll know it dont go out your way to show people who couldn’t care less

I told my best friend to share everything she could and that when the day came when her bonus daughter asks why her real mom rarely showed up and then she can say she tried her best and let her know about all events.
It came full circle when a few months ago the other mom pulled my friend to the side and thanked her for doing everything she didn’t/couldn’t do for 15 years.
