We got a health visitor that specialises in sleep come out last year as we were going through the same thing. The technique we were told is to do the usual bedtime routine, get them settled in bed and leave the room. As soon as they start crying/screaming go back in and settle them again. Don't engage them in conversation and only say one phrase that needs to be the same for whoever puts little one to bed. We said "it's bedtime". Once settled again repeat the process. It is difficult to start with but persevere because it does get better. It's also important that the environment they go to sleep in is the same all night. For example, if they fall asleep with a light on, it stays on. If they fall asleep with you there, then they expect you to be there if they wake in the night and that can cause them to get up and come to you rather than self settle. We also got an alarm clock that turns red for bed and green when it's time to get up, which has worked wonders. X
Since I started playing this at night for my daughter, she fell asleep within 3-10mins! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/66Np1EGOCdMxlgZUq3p1hk?si=EimRhysuRL-lne9aX4Qmbw&pi=ToR2ZVZxRdSHf She's always been a terrible sleeper with a 1000 stories of why she won't sleep, but this has been a godsend! See if it works. Would be keen to know. So I tell her I am playing her a little story and she can't come out of her room until the story is finished as it is very special. And then, 3mins in, fast asleep!
I’m going through the same I have just given up , when she comes in my bed during the night I don’t have the energy to fight with her xx
