Bathing when introducing solids

I’m staring to introduce solids to my LO by baby lead, and so far she just gets covered in bananas and avocado. Before this I was giving her a bath maybe once/twice a week. Are other parents giving your kids nightly baths while introducing solids? Or just solid wipe downs with baby wipes/wet paper towels?

Depends on how dirty! The bibs that have sleeves are a lifesaver. Once she gets the hang of it it’ll get a little less messy on her but more throwing of food haha 😅 at least that is my experience

I just bath her everyday but I have done since she was 3 months

Since we’ve start introducing solids I’ve given her a bath every 2 days. But she will get one regardless if she’s eating something sticky like bananas and she gets crazy dirty.

If my 6mo gets sticky or has a ton of food caked I everywhere (which is rare) I will absolutely give her a bath. But if she just has it on her face/hands, I'll wipe her down. I usually give my LO a bath three times weekly.

We give mine a bath every night but we only use soap every other night. It’s more for his bedtime routine/sleep purposes though. For breakfast & lunch he gets wiped down and then bath after dinner.

I bathe my son every 3 days. I wipe him down with a warm wash cloth if he happens to get food all over himself which as stated above the sleeve bibs are a life saver. I also read that babies who get messy during meal time helps with texture adversions or sensory issues in the future. So I let my son get messy on his hands and face and such.

We use bibs that catch most of everything. Usually her hands and face are the only things to get dirty so that gets washed in the sink after every meal. Our bathing schedule hasn’t changed much since starting solids tbh
