Placebo effect!!

My kid recently fell sick and she really took a liking to the tylenol grape syrup. Now she is totally ok but keeps acting as if she is sick at times , makes her eyes small and says “Im feeling sick, my head aches, i need tynol, gimme some tynol” And I give her a teeny tiny teaspoon of maple syrup. She grimaces and before she complains (abt the taste difference), I say “Ur all ok now!!” and she continues with her mischiefs. Now she doesnt ask fr tynol😛

haha thank God Im not alone!

Yup my kiddo does this. I act like I'm going through the process of taking it into the syringe without pulling back. And then just put empty syringe in his mouth. Then he acts like he's all better.
