I think no matter the age you still want to be tasteful. I’ll be 42 in July & lost a lot of weight after this last pregnancy, single now & not necessarily looking but don’t want to be passed over either. I think you know what’s appropriate at this big age & what’s questionable. You also only live once so, buy that crop top but pair it with high waist jeans or the 2pc swim suit with a cute cover up that still shows how cute the suit is. It can be done if done right…

I feel have my own style so wear what I want to.. I think everyone should feel free to express themselves however they wish

Not even a little bit. Obviously you want your clothes to look nice on you, but your age really isn’t relevant to that. I find the whole “people over 40 must wear this make up or that dress” really irritating. It’s all based on a stereotype and assumptions.

I wear what I want 💁 I definitely don't want to wear most of what my 19yo or 20yo likes to wear 💁 I basically still dress like a 90's punk influenced teen 🤣

I know I’m stylish as my 10 yr old wants to wear my stuff but when I was 10 I never wanted to wear my moms stuff. My mom dresses very nice.
I just wear everything with confidence.

I dress a lot like I did in high school or in my early twenties: jeans, solid tshirts or cute tops to be dressed nicer. Sometimes I wear a dress or skirt but mostly jeans & tshirts. Lately I'm trading my Converse for freaking barefoot shoes because they're really comfortable. But I'm by no means throwing the Converse into the trash yet.

I'd like to wear Docs (GenX here) but I do feel a little silly sometimes like people will think I'm trying too hard to be cool or retro when in reality I just like how they look and feel.
