Short day naps

My girl sleeps great at night and goes for 12 hours usually but in the day she won’t sleep for longer than 30-40 mins in one go. Does anyone else have this issue at the moment? I’m wondering whether to start putting her in her cot for day naps when I can to try and make a consistent routine. Thoughts?

My girl is pretty much the same as this but she’s always so happy and doesn’t seem like she wants to sleep more so I’m currently to going by ‘if it’s not broke, don’t fix it’ as she doesn’t seem to be in any need for any more and happily sleeps anywhere when she needs a nap which is very handy for being out and about etc ☺️ once she’s past 6 months I might start thinking about trying lucky naps but I’m currently happy with how she’s doing and don’t want to ruin her currently good sleep by changing things 😂

I’ve just been reading about this and it’s common at this age, it’s the length of a sleep cycle https://huckleberrycare.com/blog/5-month-old-sleep-schedule-and-development

Says in the FAQ bit it can also be waking from hunger
