Please Help

I’ve been on and off bleeding since 9DPO and got my positive 12DPO and have been testing positive since. GP won’t do anything as obvs too early for a scan etc but has anyone else been in a similar position with a positive outcome? The tests that I have done are 12,13 and 14DPO and are still quite light. Is this normal? I don’t know what to think but hoping for a positive outcome. 🙏🏻

Were they taken at the same time

Hi, the bleeding can be implantation bleeding which is common to have, some people don’t get really bright lines on tests I never had a bright line mine never got darker than the control line and I had a healthy pregnancy and often if it’s early morning urine it can be still diluted you can take a digital test for some extra reassurance x

@Serren I took a clear blue 6 days early digital which has confirmed pregnant x

@Megan The first two were on an late afternoon/evening and the one I took today was about an hour ago. I took an easy at home HCG strip and that is negative? 🤷🏼‍♀️ x

Not to scare you at all as I have had both a negative outcome and a positive outcome with bleeding throughout pregnancy, my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and unfortunately the hardest part is the positive tests even afterwards, tests can show positive for up to 2 weeks after loss, I watched my tests get lighter everytime although still positive and it was heartbreaking as you can imagine, I don’t want to panic you or upset you but instead just want to try be as openly honest with you so that you can somewhat prepare yourself for the worst, that being said I also bled with my second and was a nervous wreck the entire time like you it was on and off, more like a spotting than a bleed but some days were a little bit more than others fast forward to now, I have a healthy and thriving 11 month old boy! Try not to panic too much, easier said than done I know but you don’t need any stress during this time, keep testing and keep being positive, I hope you receive the best outcome x

@Jade The thing is though, how would you know if you’ve miscarried? Is it just the case of testing daily and then if it gets lighter the chances are it is? It’s so confusing as I was testing negative when I first started bleeding and it’s only been in the last 3 days it’s now shown positive along with the bleeding still? x

I think the only way would be by blood work. For example, had a miscarriage almost at 5 weeks so they classified it as a chemical. My bloodwork showed I was pregnant but maybe something happened right after implantation. If it wasn't for the tests and bloodwork I wouldn't have even known because it was so early

A chemical pregnancy is basically one that cannot be confirmed by an ultrasound so typically a chemical would occur before week 6(ish). If you tested positive for pregnancy but are spotting, there could be something going on with your cervix because your cervix will be insanely sensitive when pregnant. A chemical pregnancy will end in a period.

@Nicole that is true. My bloodwork confirmed the higher levels of HCG, that's why I suggested bloodwork for her... I will note I did have spotting for a few days before getting a full blown period with my chemical.
