Not until he was on 2 naps which for us was around 6.5 months! Before that we had a flow of naps + tasks but no real timings to it as I never knew which of the 3 naps would be long!

12 weeks and just going with the flow x

I think it depends on the baby, my son is 4 months old and I think around 3 months is when I started a semblance of a routine but it changes as he's changing lol

In my experience not until around 5 months at the very earliest. I worried about setting routines but it just isn’t possible with a baby that young.

what time are the two naps and bedtimes?

We just got settled into a bed time routine at almost 4 months. The days are just generally eat, play, nap with him being awake for an average of 2 hours but his naps aren’t specifically scheduled. Sometimes hes tired after an hour so the day time just varies and we go with the flow. He is crabby and ready for bed around 730 so we start bath and chill time around 6ish. Earlier than Id like but I think he’s going through a regression and his naps haven’t been great

We didn’t start a routine properly until 7 months, they change too much before then x

I was literally just thinking this for the future! I have a 7 week old so going to save this post 🤣

When you can.
I started a routine with my first when she was a month old. We thrived on it... then I had my second and then well..... what routine?! 😅
We sort of fell into a routine when I had my 3rd.

My kids are 1.5 and 3.5 and we don't have routines. It works for us lol

I wouldn’t even waste your time, let them find their own. As soon as they have one they hit a regression or a leap or teething and it all changes again anyway and routine goes out the window 🙃
I’d say 10 weeks is far to young though personally

2-3 months I think
