See that’s what I thought but it says no on their Q&A page 🫤
Odd it’s a standard formula preparation method on the nhs website, as long as baby hasn’t drunk from the bottle it’s good in the fridge for 24hours, otherwise they have to finish the bottle within 2 hours of starting the bottle 🙂
You can keep a bottle untouched for 2 hours so yeah it'll be absolutely fine.
This is so new to me. With my first refrigerating already made up formula was not a thing I was aware of. I just made it as of when needed
The nhs now again, after many years of saying you can’t, advises that you can but it’s not best practice. The manufacturers still state that you can’t as they have not personally tested their milk under those conditions for safety so will not be held responsible if storage instructions aren’t followed and baby becomes unwell. It’s also likely certain aspects of the nutrition may degrade over time that it is stored as heating, cooling and reheating most things depletes nutritional values
Yep you can make up all the bottles for the day in the morning and warm them individually through the day if you wanted to 🙂 just make them up like you would fresh pop the top and lid on, cool it as much under cold water from the tap then in to the fridge it is good for 24 hours 🍼 x
