Has anyone moved baby to cot yet ?

My baby has been in the mini-cot from the beginning

My baby went into his cotbed the other week.

We moved our son, who is now 5 months, to a cot from Moses basket at beginning of 4 months. If you are gonna move your baby be prepared it is not gonna be an instant transition. What we had to do for couple days is put his Moses basket into the cot while he was sleeping in the basket and after couple days tried putting him into the cot without basket. Don’t force it, if your baby cannot settle in the cot, move them back into their original bed. If you can’t put them into the cot in their original bed, try day naps and putting them into the cot for a bit each night.

Ours was sleeping through the night before. We moved her a couple a weeks ago into the cot. First night was horrendous, woke up 10x! Now twice

My little one went in his cot with no problems a few weeks ago. He slept like he normally would. He's still in the same room though as I don't have enough bedrooms for him to have his own room. When the time comes, we will move to a bigger place.

He's in his cotbed but still in our room as his room is only half painted at the moment

Moving ours this weekend as she’s outgrown the next to me and can tell it’s annoying her. Cot will be in our room for a few more months. She stayed with my parents for a night last week and loved the cot they had bought for her, so I’m hopeful for a good tranistion.

No but I nearly did last night at 4am as his big cot is in her own bedroom. Far away. 😴😤

Hear everyone story about the cot how it was tricky I had to move mine into a cot as she was wiggling up to the top so I moved her and she was completely fine I think she sleeps better in it

I moved my wee one into his cot 2 weeks ago as he was out grew the side crib. I’d already done 90% of his bedtime routine in his own room/ around his cot so he was familiar.. he’s been doing great. Wakes once between 7&6 (not every night but most) sleeps way better in his own room than he did in ours. good luck!
