Night time separation anxiety

Anyone else struggling with separation anxiety at night and broken sleep? Our LG was sleeping through usually 7pm -6am (most of the time) but the last week or 2 she's started waking through the night sometimes as soon as 3 hrs after being put down to bed. Fussing , not going back to sleep for sometimes 2-3hrs at a time zzzz ..and ending up in my bed keeping me awake half the night as she simply just cries when we leave the room. Hoping it's a development phase and it will pass soon..anyone else having these issues??

My boy started doing that, he’s now sleeping 8-6. After dinner I’m making she we’re having a really good play to tire him out more, putting to bed a bit later (was 7/7:30 bedtime) try to keep him in his cot if he does wake in the night, I get in the cot with him and stay there until settled so he doesn’t keep kicking me out of my bed🤣 Is she in her own room?

Could she be having too much day sleep? Or waking from her last nap too close to bedtime? Check out Nights with Nat - she’d be able to guide or advise you 💖 x

My boy just went through a phase of sleep regression and we wondered if it was separation anxiety since he was also pretty clingy during the day. We just went back to sleep training methods again and he got over it (luckily) pretty quickly and seems back to normal now. He also went from 2 naps to 1 nap around the same time so that was also probably a factor. One night he was so tired he actually fell asleep sat up in his cot and was like that for an hour before he put his head down 😆
