Transition from bassinet to crib?

My son is just a little over 6 months. He has been in his bassinet since about 2-3 months old. We have decided it is time to put up his crib. How did you go about the transition? His naps during the day are 100% all contact naps. Most nights, he usually just sleeps with me in bed because, in all honesty, it was the only way he'd sleep, and I loved being close to him.

I let my baby play in there and if it’s time for a nap I let her cry a little and give her the paci or milk inside the crib… I pick her up if she’s too fussy and sometimes I can’t put her back down but once she’s super knocked out I lay her in there even if she only lasts a few minutes…

I just started crib training. My baby girl is 6 months. I often let her play in her crib during the day for a moment until she gets fussy. I have toys and the mobile going. During the day she RARELY naps in the crib. She naps while nursing and gets a Power Nap😂🤦‍♀️ … but at night she sleeps in her crib REALLY WELL throughout the night. I started off sleeping on the floor with her in her room. But I didn’t have her touching me. I gave her space. I did that for a couple weeks. ( I miss my cuddles! And easy night time feeding) but then I started putting her in her crib. Honestly the first few days were probably the hardest bc of the transitioning, but I think once she was tired and ready to sleep for the rest of the night. Laying her down without her having an issue became a lot easier. But every baby is different. I still lay her down and she wakes right up and wants me to get her. It’s not always easy 💕😩😂
