Mam anti colic bottles

Does anyone else’s mam bottles whistle from the bottom where the holes are? Whilst my little one is drinking about halfway through his bottle it starts to whistle from the bottom as if air is getting in/out… ? Are they supposed to do that? Do I need to swap my bottles to a different brand?

I found this happened when the white part of the bottle wasn’t pressed in properly (I think anyway) x

@Jodie see that’s what I thought but I’ve tried pressing the white bit in myself and using the lid to press it down and no matter what way I push it in I get this issue around 1/1.5oz into his feed

Mam bottles whistling is correct. Especially if you pace feed. It just means there’s excess air in the bottle that is leaving through the bottom

@Rachel oh I never knew this!! That’s interesting

@Rachel thank you! I wasn’t too sure 🫶🏼

Yeaah mine do that :) it's air at the bottom. Like Rachel said, they're meant to do it, it's so excess air is escaping rather than baby swallowing it.

Just air in the bottle coming out x
