If you want to still give breast milk, you could offer him a bottle of expressed milk when he tries to pull down your shirt. With enough redirecting he may get it eventually
Im doing the "they'll wean themselves when their ready method"... So my baby boy is 14 months and only wants to nurse now at naptime and bedtime. Sometimes when he's overwhelmed in public he'll want to nurse a bit and I let him, but I dont get embarrassed by something like that. Hims still a baby, it's not like he's 4 yrs old and breastfeeding. 🤷🏼♀️ But thats just me. My goal since getting pregnant has been breastfeeding until at least 2.
Apparently if you start counting every time they want to nurse to 10 and every time decreasing works for other moms for me didn't hahaha my boy was super attached to the boob even that it was giving me a lot of trouble because he would refuse to eat and only demand breastfeeding We went to an OT and she recommended me to me leave for a few days and stop completely I explained to him days before and We have a properly goodbye It was so.hard for both of us I stayed in the house and.my husband on the basement with my boy I could hear the crying 😢 I came back 3 days later and he was so happy but I can tell her had a hard time but it did work he is eating still picky but for sure not as before
@Sonia he’s one now and every time what e in public my shirt goes down an it’s little embarrassing now so I wanna stop breastfeeding
