Conjunctivitis

My LO had it, he woke up with his eyes stuck shut, but was otherwise fine in himself. I took him to the local pharmacy who said to just wipe clean with cooled boiled water cotton pads and if its not gone in a couple days to take him to the GP. It was pretty much entirely gone by the next night 🤷🏻‍♀️ However I think you can get eye drops if it's bad xx

It depends on the nursery policy. We couldn’t send my girl in when she had it.
Symptoms were really sticky eyes, especially in the morning when they’d be stuck together. Cooled boiled water and cotton pads are usually treatment. I took my daughter to GP for it once and they said she doesn’t need to see a GP unless her eye ball is red which suggests it’s bacterial

Thanks ladies. I didn’t see her this morning as I’d left for work but will see what her eyes are like in the morning, she’s had messy eyes today and they look sore but she’s ok in herself. Hopefully it goes on its own by Monday 🤞🤞

I took my daughter to the gp as both her eyes were quite bad and she had antibiotic eye drops
