Potty training

What kind of potty is it? My son had two but he highly prefers one over the other

I'm in the same boat. My Little has his good days and his bad days with it. We recently tried doing an hour a day when he's in normal underwear and set a timer for every 20 mins for him to sit and try. He gets one sticker to put on his potty for pee and 2 for poop. I think doing it for only a little bit of time instead of the whole day has taken some of the pressure off of him.

My daughter is 3 in July and we’ve been struggling too. I’ve resorted to bribery and that seems to have helped the start. She is really excited to be able to get a small treat afterwards (if she actually goes potty) and when she does go potty we praise her really enthusiastically. If she fought to go on the potty, after she calms down and takes a deep breath I tell her we can listen to her favorite song while she tries. I hope it starts to go well for you!

I got my son a stopwatch timer that had settings for 15 mins, 30 mins and an hour. Idk why, but the timer for my kid worked! He let alarms tell him what to do more than me lol. I’ve also done incentive charts with stickers for each time my son went to the bathroom. He’s still stubborn about going, but he’s come a long way

@Jeanette ive read a lot of reviews that kids don’t like those kinds. I have one that’s small and has handles all around. So it gives back support But I just had my son sit on the potty every morning when he woke up and he’d go potty within five minutes. Eventually when he woke up he’d suggest the potty. Then we moved on to no pull-ups and guiding to the potty. I didn’t do the sit down for 10mins or whatever it didn’t work. Just whenever he made accidents I cleaned it up and explained we go to the potty and pee or poop. As time went by he eventually started going to the potty without a pull up with minimal mistakes Now we are in baby boxers during the day and he’s doing pretty great going to the potty by himself.

More books & shows teaching about it? And we took a clean break for 2 months & got rid of the potties. By the time we reintroduced it, she completely changed
