Swaddle sleep suits
I have a swaddle sleep suit which i’m yet to use, my HV said not to swaddle but I would like to know if anyone is using them and if they are helping with sleep?

My baby is one week old and I have been swaddling him with the Love to dream swaddle bags since we got home from the hospital and he absolutely loves it.
We used both TT and Purflo swaddle sleep bags to keep his arms in (he’s not rolling yet so still do sometimes) - I think HV advice is against traditional swaddling, whereas these allow for some movement under the material rather than baby being pinned down x

My baby isn’t here yet but with my first born he absolutely loved the Love to dream swaddle bags. They were a game changer for sleep. I didn’t get them pre-birth so when he was born tried just swaddling with big swaddles/the normal swaddle bags, both these methods have arms down and they just never seemed to work. The minute we switched the the other bags he was much more settled. Not sure about HV advice not to swaddle, I always thought swaddling was in line with safe sleep guidance so long as baby is on back and no loose blankets/swaddles and the tog rating is okay for room temp
