It is a really big risk cause of position asphyxiation, but maybe you can try to do a transfer? My son was really hard to transfer he was so used to rocking ? We start rocking him him to sleep, then laying down with him on our chest then gently rolling him onto our bed 😅😅
No. Like it’s cool if they fall asleep in the swing, but you should NEVER leave them asleep in it unattended. Now if they’re asleep and you’re sitting there watching them I’d say it’s okay for a few minutes. Definitely not a lengthy 30 min plus nap or sleep. It’s not a safe incline for newborns or infants and increases likelihood of SIDS. You don’t want to be that ONE person who does it because “everyone else” did it and your baby is the one that gets harmed
So I have an almost 10 month old she’s not really a fan but when she does I’ll let her nap for a couple of minutes no longer then 30 min most times but to each there own oc but please keep in mimd the way the swing is because Sid’s is real
If it reclines to laying flat.
My baby slept in her swing for naps, and a couple times throughout the night. i don’t see anything wrong with it as long as your cautious
Depends on how the swing sits and how their head is laying, you gotta keep an eye on them tho I let my kids sit in the swing but I never left the room, she was fine with me moving it with her in it so if I had to go to the bathroom I'd drag it with me and set it outside the door and leave it open, if I had to cook I'd set it right outside the kitchen(it was a small kitchen no room for a swing while cooking) and I'd stay in the kitchen
I did all the time and she was completely fine. She cried when I took her out... Helped me survive those crying fits when I was all alone without help frfr
As long as you aren’t leaving the child unattended.
My baby will mostly only nap in his swing it is absolutely a risky decision but this kid needs sleep and I needed sanity. We’ve loved it. And my kid loves it. He’s now 15 months
