try to find out if your baby has cmpa, if that’s the case you’ll have to cut off dairy
Are your parents doctors? What you eat has minimal to no proven impact on your babies digestion of your breast milk. CMPA would be a notable, albeit rare, exception. In that case, you would avoid ingesting dairy in particular cows milk.
@Erin really? my parents are the only ones who tell me that all the foods i intake will affect my baby negatively and/or positively. im not a fan of milk myself but i will see, thank you
@Yajaira thank you!
@J thank you!
Avoid dairy products and see if that helps. Also, how is baby straining?? Babies don’t know how to pass gas until they’re about 2months. Is baby crying home straining?? How do they know it’s diarrhea? Baby’s poop should be mustard yellow and liquid-ish or with small yellow pebbles in it
Breastmilk is a natural laxative the first few weeks. So he is not having diarrhea. My baby had liquidy poop I thought it was diarrhea but the lactation consultant said it was normal. He is straining because he is still working his bowel muscles also when he is older he will strain too when starting solids, when the poop gets harder
Spinach - can cause gas
