@Claudia thanks babe! This is exactly what I do. I have prepped meals in the freezer for him that I made for convenience. And I just feed him whatever I’m eating now as he’s got heaps of chompers to help break it up! It’s just cos I’m not really eating myself therefor he’s not getting what I get 😭 he just had watermelon and one of my dumplings for lunch. It’s just a struggle for me to keep up with everything at the moment I have zero energy and so tired. I really appreciate your comment! Also HOW GOOD is Pinterest. I’m on it everyday 😂

Hey there momma! I have an 8mo, exclusively breastfed as well.. I started blw when he was 4mo. His pediatrician told me “food before 1 is just for fun!” Babies are exploring the world, its okay to not give him 3 meals a day, he still gets his main source of nutrition from breastmilk or formula! I’m also in the same boat, struggling to find time to feed myself on some days..I’ve lost so much weight. I sometimes only give my son breakfast (which is super easy and simple for me) and breastfeed him the rest of the day and give him snacks like fruits or yogurt.. But trying to find a routine really helps. I know easier said than done, but start with easy meals so you don’t feel so overwhelmed and exhausted with cooking. They don’t have to be super complex or anything, simple and quick easy meals will be good for you and baby! 🙂 Pinterest is my best friend when it comes to meals. Hope this helped!
