Yes, my son is almost 16 weeks and he has had moments of taking longer naps. They are unfortunately far & few between, as most of his naps are 30-40 minute cat naps. From what I’ve read your infant shouldn’t nap longer than 2 hours. Once they reach 2 hours your should wake them up. And your baby should be hitting their wake windows prior to napping. I love the website takencarababies. They have great information.
My pediatrician said babe don’t have set wake and sleep schedules for awhile so as long as she’s sleeping the right amount of hours in 24 hrs total I’m good
So I think it’s 14 to 17 hrs for a three month old
Sounds similar to my baby! He’s 15 weeks and for the last 2 weeks has woken once at night to eat, has 3-4 30 minute naps a day and 1 long (typically 2 hour) nap. I wake him up after 2 hours 15 minutes so he still sleeps at night.
