I have a baby gate set up in his doorway so he doesn't try to go downstairs in the middle of the night. Cheap, tension kind.
Well, our German Shepherd keeps knocking it down every time he jumps over the gate. I decided to reinstall it a bit higher in the hopes our german Shepherd wouldn't jump over it.
Well, I guess I installed it a little too high because while I was busy with a couple of chores. My son slid underneath the gate after I had put him to bed. He came downstairs with a sippy cup, opened the fridge, pulled out a half gallon of milk, and carried it upstairs to give himself some milk. I found him halfway up the steps. I followed him and watched him slip under the gate back into his room, leaving the cup and milk just outside the gate. I guess he didn't think this part through.
This one's going places. My little smarty.
I had to adjust the gate.

lol, my 2 year old opens the fridge and gives either parent a half gallon that is totally full of whatever and walks it over to either of us no matter where we are. Then she’ll grab food out of the fridge, attempt to mop the floor and throw foods away too!!! She is so mischievous that way!!! The only stairs we have are outside since we are on the third floor… lol this kids are so creative at this age!!! 😂😂😂

time to install a wall mounted gate!
