8 week vaccine
Baby had her 6in1 and rotavirus vaccine today and she has been crying nonstop for an hour. Im not sure if this is normal - we’ve been doing lots of cuddles and contact naps but for the past hour she has been crying nonstop.
Has anyones baby been extra stressed and fussy after the vaccine and how long did it last?

My doctor advised us to give Tylenol following the vaccine to help with discomfort/fussiness or fever
My friends son was super fussy after and wouldn't stop crying and their doctor said if he is fussy it may be from the vaccine making him not feel well or discomfort. Perhaps your doctor can advise whether or not Tylenol would be appropriate for you to give them?
I know it's helped ours both times he's had vaccines
ive given her calpol it seemed to have helped for couple of hours but now shes crying nonstop
My baby had her 8 week jabs today and was crying loads once she woke from a 2 hour nap. Even whilst breastfeeding for an hour was crying on and off throughout! She’s fallen asleep for the last hour, nervous for when she wakes up 😬

I know for my son (just had his 4 months done) when he's really worked up bathing him seems to really settle him. We had a stand up shower so I usually set his bath seat up in there and I sit on the floor and let the shower head run over him
aww. Bless her. Honestly its so difficult seeing them in pain and discomfort
our nurse said not to bathe or shower her 🤔
Hmm that's interesting! Maybe recommendations are different in different areas. I'm in Canada (southern Ontario) and was told as long as long as they're comfortable it could be soothing for them
oh okay. Yes maybe it’s different here in the UK. 🤷🏻♀️
