It’s completely normal, some babes will sleep through, take a dummy, nap in their bassinet, be what people call “easy” however it’s the exception not the rule. Society just makes you believe your baby is doing it wrong which is not true! Cosleeping is the standard for most of the world, it’s only western countries that make us think our baby MUST sleep in a separate space. That you have to bankrupt yourself on a “sleep trainer” (they boil my blood). 6 hours straight is amazing! You’re probably sleeping more yourself too. Unless it’s seriously impacting your day to day life, embrace baby as they are. Enjoy the midnight feed, they’ll never be that small again. Relax during the contact naps, let’s face it they won’t be doing that at 18!. Osteopaths & dentists don’t recommend dummies after 6-12 months anyway. A secure loved baby is more likely to sleep happily independently down the line and it sounds like this is your baby ♥️ https://www.instagram.com/lyndsey_hookway?igsh=dW8zYTg2cHo5M
Maybe it’s the 4 month sleep regression?
@Madeleine this was very much needed thank you 😂 x
What helped me was putting my baby down drowsy but awake and he takes a tummy so I also give him that and usually within 5minutes he sleeps off. If I put him down while he’s asleep most of the time he wakes up
Not helpful but my baby is the same, I feel you 🥰. She’s 8 months and is still with me.
