Certainly looks like little teethies getting ready to cut through!! I second Ashton and Parsons teething powder as suggested above but just a note, you don’t rub it in, you put it on the end of their tongue to dissolve as the instructions on the packet says. For babies 3-6 months they suggest using half the packets contents x
@CeeCee been to the chemist and they’ve said there’s nothing over the counter that they can sell me and I’d need a doctors prescription 🙄 will try and find that powder, hopefully it’ll help
@Tierney will have to try and find the powder, chemist has said they can’t sell me anything and I’d need a prescription 🥴
@Charlotte ooo I have these but haven’t had them out because I only thought about using it for food and weaning, do you think I’d be able to use formula milk in them?
The ashtons and parsons also do a testing gel from 3 month which has really helped my little girl the last few days x
@Tierney I’ll take a walk to the supermarket and see if I can find it. Thank you :)
@Jade I’ll have a look for it when I go the shops, thank you
@Laura-jane ashton parsons contain lactose! Absolute pain as my little boy is CMPA too but we’ve been advised to avoid. You can get anbesol gel which I believe is suitable from 3m+ and has no dairy! Otherwise neurofen is good as it reduces the inflammation, we’ve found it soothes him much better than calpol x
@Charlotte anbesol is 5 months 😭
@CeeCee devastating! Honestly I bought it from the pharmacy and they didn’t say anything and I’ve been giving it since 4 months 😬
The powder didn’t do nothing for me , im using anbesol however the effect doesn’t last. I do give 2.5ml calpol when he gets veryy fussy and the combo of both makes him very calm. He sleeps 7-8 h at night and during the day he is not as fussy as before. I just imagine if my teeth hurts and i get a gel it does nothing without an anti inflammatory medicine to reduce heat swelling and pain. My boy is 3 months btw
Definitely looks like it! Unfortunately lots of the teething gels etc start from 5 months, but Im pretty sure you can use ashtons and parsons powder, just double check. Rub it in with a clean finger, it really helped my little one when she was 4 months so I didnt have to give calpol or nurofen unless really really needed
