My tv is always on, whether it’s a Disney show or true crime or even just music. I grew up with it on as background noise and now I do the same with my kids. My toddler loves bluey and princess movies, so he sits and watches them sometimes but he’s also super active outside and playing with inside toys as well. We use my phone to play bluey during diaper changes as well because he’s started fighting me on it 😅 I personally don’t see anything wrong with the tv being on as long as children are still playing/active and not staring at the tv all day long. I think tv can be a great educational tool for kids as well if there’s Mrs Rachel or nature documentaries or low stimulation movies playing.

You are definitely not the only one! We have ours on. There are times where we will keep it off if he's playing really nicely for a couple of hours. Usually have it one while cooking or cleaning and don't want him getting in the way or slipping on the wet floor.
We do try to change it up every now and then to give him options and to know that spider man or toy story is not the only shows on haha 😆

I do YouTube mostly for background noise. That way there’s music playing and some nice beach scenery or something playing on a loop. Makes me wish I was there sometimes but hey… at least it’s on my tv 🤷🏻‍♀️😏 The ocean ones are nice too. It’s kind of like being at an aquarium.
