Just wondering if anyone has any tips on increasing milk supply and perhaps a schedule they follow? My baby is 5 months old and in the 3rd percentile. I’ve only ever breastfed her and she has one bottle of breastmilk if she wakes up during the night. She’s super happy and playful, but Dr wants to try supplementing formula for her to gain weight. I want to try to increase my milk supply before resulting to formula and wondering if anyone has advice on when to add in pumping sessions and ways to increase my supply. Thank you :)

Direct feed as much as baby will allow, including the night feed.

Is she dropping down the centiles or has she stayed around the 3rd for some time?? To increase supply Skin to skin, feeding her from the breast as often as possible (that she wants) and focus on hydration and whole foods, red meat, fish, foods high in iron etc. The supplements on the market have no credible evidence for increasing supply, hydration, nutrition and happy hormones are the only proven way so don’t be conned into spending £££ on crap!
