Low sex drive since being pregnant

Has anyone had a dip in their sex drive since being pregnant? If so, what did you do to overcome it? I am 26 weeks pregnant and I just feel like I don’t feel or look sexy because my body has changed. I have become dryer in a result and I don’t know how to get my libido back. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

This is super common in pregnancy, i was like this in both my pregnancys untill I hit the 3rd trimester, i couldn't think of anything worse than being touched/having sex and when we did it just wasn't the same

Oh I'm the same! I hoped it would come back after first trimester but I'm just not interested and I feel so bad for my partner. So tips here would be good! And it's good to know I'm not alone!

Third trimester I’m struggling as every position is quite uncomfortable and I’m ultimately thinking about the baby or just mind isn’t where it’s supposed to be as there’s a whole human inside. Partner been so understanding but like others have said you do feel bad. Maybe pleasure them or jack em off so they’re satisfied? And you feel content as I know we’re no longer in the need phase rn. Obviously it’ll come back soon later after baby’s here but for now I’m happy to skip this part and obviously would be nice to do that little bit for him 😜

So glad i’m not alone in this!

I’m only in my first trimester but I feel the opposite, my husband and I have both had a higher sex drive since I got pregnant.

@Sarah this was so helpful ❤️ thank you so much. I do hope it comes back 🥺

@Rach mine started like this but changed since second trimester

Oh gosh yes it's common don't worry at the start I was like I want it all the time couldn't get enough now I'm 29 weeks I tell him if you even breath in my direction I'll throw a brick at you 🤣🤣🤣🤣 If you are a little dry try doing some foreplay to start you off that's what my hubby does and it does the trick n if not try using a little lube

I’m the same and have been the whole way through! I’m 37 weeks now and still am not interested and everyone’s telling me I need to start to get baby out before I’m induced 🤣😅

@Natasha thank you so much. Your message was super helpful. I will try that

@Maddie so glad to know I’m not alone 🥹 I wonder if it goes back to normal after giving birth?

I'm hoping it will go back to normal after birth once all the hormones have settled again!

I hope so🙈 I think I’ve had it maybe all of 3 times since I found out I was pregnant. It’s now way too uncomfortable and like you, it’s dryer too which isn’t helping! I think it’s just a very natural thing in pregnancy, some women will be all for it and some women completely lose it 🤷🏻‍♀️
