Maybe try cutting the tip off! We have a silicone obsessed cat that chews pacifiers from time to time and a couple times we haven't noticed until our toddler rejects them lol.
Honestly, take them away. We did the paci fairy with our first. We havent taken them away with our July baby because we also have a 9 month old
Mine never liked a Pacey as a newborn didn’t have to wean her . However bottle is a different story 😫🙏
Mine didn't care about the hole either. He still used it for sleep. So I took it away for naps for a week, then at night. He cried a lil extra for 3 nights and that was it. I like Sam's idea!!
My baby with the baba is unhealthy omg
He loves it more than life itself
My daughter didn’t care about the hole either, she would just suck it even harder 😂 so one day when she asked for it during her nap, I said “all gone” she was like oh? Okay then. And went to sleep perfectly 😂 I expected it to be much harder and was worried about how the night would go as she used to wake up several times for the dummy but nope, she slept through!!
Frida baby has a paci weaning set, its five different levels of shorter pacis but basicly just cut shorter and shorter each levels till the last one is just barely a nub of the paci, here's the link. https://a.co/d/dTVUnRB
I gathered all of them up one night. And in the morning there was a fairy house outside with chalk, marbles that he could throw in the pond, and a letter from the binky fairy. The letter just said thank you and all the fairly babies send their gratitude by sending the gift. Whenever he asked for it I told him the binky fairy took it and he just went yeah and went about his day. It probably took over a month before he stopped asking
