Hey mamas

Anyone else’s 24 month old toddler refusing food, my baby tends to have couple bites and thinks she’s full. But then she asks for milk when hungry. Feeling a bit stressed and want to hear if anyone else baby going through this phase.

My 23 months is same but not everyday some days she eats good some days just couple bites and milk, I heard a pediatrician said one good food a day can be enough for toddlers

This has been our entire experience with food (not just a phase). My kid would get all his sustenance from milk if I gave him the chance. He also prefers purées over solid foods so we’ve really had to challenge him to get him to eat outside of his comfort zone. The only advice I have for your current situation is to try not to give into the milk pressure because if she fills up on milk she won’t be motivated by hunger to eat other foods. It’s tough but eventually the hunger will prevail.

Yes mine is doing the same, i think its just the two year phase wanting to controlling things

We went through about a month of this here lately. She never woke up crying because she was hungry though. I was a bit concerned but she wasn't losing weight so that was helpful. They'll eat when they're hungry. During this time she wanted to more so graze than actually eat. So like we'd keep lunch and dinner out for a bit longer and periodically ask if she'd want anymore bites before we got rid of it. It was helpful.
