You don’t have to force a swaddle 🩵 both my babies hated it and we just simply never used it. I feel like it made sleep easier all around. My oldest doesn’t even like blankets still and he’s 2.5. Just dress them accordingly to the room temp. They have charts online if you just google something like baby dressing chart for temp. I usually do a long sleeve onsie then a pj sleeper on top
Ok thank you!! She’s been struggling sleeping in her bassinet so I’ve been cosleeping to get any kind of rest, but I wasn’t sure how to keep her asleep when she’s in there. I’ll probably have to try a sleep sack
Totally give it a try!! My first hates sleep sacks too so I never used it with him, my second uses them no problem don’t get defeated! Some babies just follow the norm 😄🥳 but I think it’s way better because I don’t have to wean them out of a swaddle or have them codependent on things to sleep. Also we I co sleep with both kiddos if you still aren’t having luck in the bassinet it’s totally ok to co sleep (: just follow the safe sleep 7 and you’re good to go. I don’t think I would or could have survived without co sleeping. You got this! Just follow your instincts.
My daughter was never swaddled. Wouldn’t sleep unless she was co sleeping (following safe guidelines). I tried absolutely everything. Do what works best for you and baby to both get some rest xx
I swaddle even double swaddle my second but I stopped swaddling my first once we came home. A few days I didn’t think she liked it and I was frustrated whenever she came out of it so I stopped. She’s fine and now 3.
My baby never liked swaddles! He likes sleep sacks (the one where his hands were wrapped in it as well as the armless kind) but never swaddles
