Fever
You would think by now I would know… 😭😭😭😭 my son has a fever. And he won’t eat all he wants to do is nurse and I don’t have enough milk. I’ve been pumping to see how much will come out but it’s barely an ounce. He doesn’t take bottles. He fights me to take water from his sippy cup. I gave him Tylenol dye free. Twice today but the fever still comes back. Before his temp was at 101.1 then I gave him Tylenol then it came back like a hour or so later. I gave him a bath and gave him Tylenol again. But then an hour or so later he’s back to being miserable. My poor baby… idk what to do I just took his temp and it’s at 103.8. I do t want to keep giving him Tylenol I was reading that if you keep giving it can harm his liver… hubby is big on natural remedies but sometimes I get too impatient and I don’t like my babies suffering so long… I haven’t told him I’ve given our son Tylenol.

If his fever is reaching 103.8 you should probably bring him in
he’s a year and 7 months. The fever just start today around 2am
he’s had a fever like this before but it went away quick since he was young and my milk supply was fairly fresh.

teething!!!! 😭😭😭 this is my first boy. My daughter didn’t have any symptoms when her teeth came in. So this is very new to me. He has been very whiny lately and clingy. The fever just popped up out of nowhere where 😖😖😖. I suffer from anxiety so I overthink a lot and get very worried.

Teething does NOT cause fevers. Teething increases the likelihood of baby putting germs into their mouth which can cause a fever. Also, fevers are not inherently *bad* as the body is literally trying to “burn” out the germs. 103.8 is pretty high, I’d take him in personally but it’s just his body trying to fight off whatever bug he’s got.
my daughter had a fever when she was teething. Yes, it is possible to have a fever with teething. Every kid is different.
😖😖😖 we went out Monday in front of my apartment building to visit a friend my son was on me the whole time. Only thing he touched was a water gun that some kids were playing with. The fever started today around 2am. Does that mean my daughter will have a fever next 😭😭😭😭
teething does not cause fevers. Germs cause fevers. Babies put stuff in their mouth when teething and catch germs.
impossible to say /: Could have been something in the air but your daughter might already have immunity against it if she’s a bit older. You’ve got this! If you’re breastfeeding your son, your body will adjust your milk to help treat it.
it’s hard to say because I only have like less than an ounce 😭😭😭😭 but he’s still sucks until he falls asleep so I guess yes…
my son doesn’t like putting stuff in his mouth when he’s away from home… it was hard trying to give him a cheeseburger. So I had to quickly eat let the play a tiny bit and head back home so they can eat.
I was legit going to say the same thing about teething 😅
