Help! I feel like crap.... I'm having a few rubbish weeks of pain and it's just not getting any easier. The consultant won't bring my section forward and it's going to be on my due date.
I'm struggling to care for my 20 month old due to pain! I'm already taking co-codamol. Every time I walk or move i have sharp pains in my vagina and lots of heavy pressure. I feel totally exhausted too. I'm trying but I'm feeling miserable. With my LO i managed to get to 38 weeks but had to have an emergency C-section but I was so active, wasn't really struggling and didn't have any pain!
What do you all do to help? Really wishing labour will happen any day!
Any tips on how to get things going?

Jeez yeah I’m in the same position as you. 38+4 weeks. Baby number 3. Previous babies no pain. But this one has been hell. Every day in pain. Today 8 hours of constant braxton hicks. Every 5-15 mins. Lasting around 1 minute each. Really uncomfortable! Not sleeping good. Exhausted. Scared to stand up all the time shooting pains. 3 days of upset tummy. It’s just been relentless. Still waiting for an induction/ c-section date. I just phoned triage for advice on what I can do because I can’t stand this anymore. But they just said paracetamol and bath. But if it gets worse or waters break ring again.
Just feel mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted with it all now. Weeks and weeks of pain. I’m just sooo done! Wish they’d just say look if you’re not coping come in and we’ll get things started for you. This is just feeling like a form of torture now.
I’ve had a sweep, drank raspberry leaf tea for weeks, ate pineapple and even drank midwives brew. Send help! X

Hi! I have been experiencing similar and have found that swimming has really helped me! I go every other day and just do a few lengths and then just hang around feeling weightless but all of the pain I was having has definitely reduced x
