Advice - how to get Exs belongings back to him
It’s a mad situation but here’s how it goes… I got a flat last year and my ex bought quite a few things for it I.e sofa tv etc and he moved most of his personal belongings in; I.e apple comp, Rolex and Apple Watch etc. cut a long story short he was violent in an argument and a few days later I just took our daughter and left and this back in Jan 2025. I’ve since given him notice to collect all shit through by getting a third person to come and sort it out for him, because I’ll NEVER let him back in. However that deadline has long passed, so I had no choice but to ring his mum who never answered or returned my calls, and today I messaged his half brother who he doesn’t even talk to on FB but no response so far. I’ve set the final deadline 13th June, but what do I do then if he still doesn’t arrange to have his shit collected? I want this vile piece of shit out of my life - and don’t want him having an excuse to come back in to my life. Do you think he’s not replying because he has a new woman and doesn’t want her finding out about his situation? I just don’t understand why someone wouldn’t want their stuff back !

I packed my ex's belongings and told his dad to send a van. And thankfully he did.
If he's not collecting his things they are technically abandoned. Look up how long can someone leave their stuff until it counts as abandonment. I know it can change based on where you are. And if he doesn't collect it by the Friday you said then either sell it or get rid of it!
