Yes my baby loved it just keep an eye on them. I live in florida so we didn’t go anywhere past ankle depth because of the alligators and stuff. She loved it though especially with sand toys

We took ours when he was much younger (maybe 7 months?) to both the lake and ocean

We bought a coast guard certified life jacket (not a puddle jumper or other float that can provide bad form/not protect in case of a flip)

He did well in the lake and liked floating in the vest on the ocean it was a bit cold but he enjoyed it as well

For sure always supervised near the water and we made sure to have sunscreen and a place to go for shade available and extra UV clothes

I took my son when he was 9 months old and he hated the sand I’m gonna take him back to the lake this year to get his reaction. We went to Lake Michigan

My mom took my youngest sibling to the lake when he was 3months old, she just held him up and slowly introduced him, never put him more than his chest in water and always held him. It's safe if done right.

We take out 18m old all the time and he loves it! My tips are sunscreen (obviously) and if you’re going in the water get a real life vest or jacket. Do not get a puddle jumper, look it up if you want but they are unsafe and have caused kids to drown. Pack and play for naps and meals, losts of snack and juice

We have taken my son out to many lakes! He walks towards the water but we tell him it’s for looking — he loved it! Just made sure we had some snacks and shoes for him! Are you planning to stay out there for hours, camping ⛺️??

I don't think we will be camping this year with her, but maybe next year! I do want to play in the water with her since her brother is 5 and will be playing in the water as well

You got plenty of time to plan in that case! (: Water play is fun too!!! Splash pad or go to a pool!
