2 under 2 (or really close)

So my 2nd is due 24.5 months after my first who will be turning 2, but my first came a few weeks early so that could happen again. I will either have kids a few days under 2 years apart or a few days over. What was the hardest part of a 24 (or close to it) month age gap for you? Was there anything you bought that you would consider a must have outside of the basics?

I've got 22 month gap. Newborn stage was a breeze then it got hard then easy and now hard again my youngest is starting to walk and potty training the eldest. But no regrets at all they are best friends! Early days a baby carrier is essential with put a doubt I also found getting out from the get go made life easier they are easier managed when out x

I also have a 22 month age gap, the hardest thing I’ve found really is trying to make my eldest realise that her brother isn’t her doll and she can’t pick him up and play with him like that 🤣 other than the first couple weeks it’s been a lot easier than I was expecting, we’d moved house and gotten my daughter in a solid routine the week before baby was here so everything was still settling when he came and shook things up but they’re solid together the best of friends already every time my boy sees his sister he’s beaming smiles and giggles, another hard part is toddler tantrums and baby crying at the same time but it’s only temporary
