I'm going to go to the GP but wondering if any other babies are waking up with coughs...it's not pleasant at all. I really feel for my girl a lot.
I'm wondering if she has asthma.

My baby does this constantly, deffo speak to your GP but they won't diagnose asthma at this age apparently. My GP gave us an inhaler but they told us at the hospital that they don't really work well for children this young so to stop using it
@Hannah her breathing is terrible at night sometimes I stay awake just to monitor her

We had an ongoing cough basically since she was born. Went to the gp who sent her for a chest xray which was all normal. She was given an inhaler which made no difference then like 2 weeks later was given antibiotics for tonsillitis and suddenly the cough disappeared. GP wasn’t too concerned but did mention going to see a paediatrician if it didn’t clear

My boys had a cough for months. I've mentioned it to the GP three times and they literally won't do anything about it. It's driving me mad because when I take him they look at me like I'm crazy.
@Rebecca I went today. GP listened to the recording that I had and referred to ENT she believes my little one has sleep apnea because of enlarged tonsils and androids...they sometimes do grow out of it but my little one has been a snorer from birth. Wish I had honestly filmed sooner.

That's fantastic! We've been back today and they've agreed to try antibiotics. If it's still there in a week they said we can maybe try and inhaler next but I'll bare this in mind too.
Good luck xx
