I'm finding all of the baby groups too clicky đ. I go for my little girls benefit, but I would like to have some adult conversation. We used to go to breastfeeding support class, but I feel my baby is getting too old for that now as it's mostly newborns. We go to a library sing song but everyone knows each apart from me. We go to some under 4 groups which are good but 1 doesn't have any other babies and the other one, they all work together. I tried a local church group, but it was a bit feral.

People already seem to know each other at whatever group I go to. I've given up making friends and just go to have a good time with the little one now.

Just because you see 2 mums sitting next to each other or talking to each other doesnât mean theyâre close though. They couldâve met that morning. Not everything is as it seems on the surface. Try to squeeze yourself into one of the conversations or get there early and make chat w a mum so if another mum comes and knows her, shes joining you guys. Just know that 2 mums chatting to each other doesnât necessarily mean anything Xx like it could be their first or second convo. And we look in and say âoh theyâre already friendsâ but in most cases, theyâre not, really.
