Idk about chipper lol but these days, I do look forward to a new day. People take life for granted! We've only got one life to live (I think lol)

I mean I have an 11 week old who still wakes up through the night, so I’m always tired. Other than that, I’m really happy. Right now, I’m rocking my sleeping baby who’s cuddled on my chest with my dog snuggled in next to me. I got a cute new haircut to feel my best before I’m back to work next week. My husband is napping with our other dog in the next room. It’s peaceful and beautiful right now.

I enjoy life. I am currently living what I prayed for and worked towards.

Most days. We are trying to buy a new house now though. So it’s a stressful time figuring out all the logistics between us and my MIL who we are buying the home with/for.

Its the small victories in between the big ones that matter. Set your self little goals, maybe related to a hobby, make them actionable and achieveable. Something to work towards just for you/ your benefit. Then you get a sense of accomplishment and a little dopamine hit. For me, I garden. Anything I eat, I take the seeds from and plant them. I have gotten really good at it over the last year, and its low cost. I sprout a plant, put it in my garden, and feel accomplished. Little victories and moments of excitement get you between bigger wins like new jobs and promotions etc. People focus only on goals that are too big and so they go a long time with out a sense of meaningful accomplishment. Even big goals should be broken in to smaller actionable steps. Some people set no goals, and life swamps together like a nothing soup with few to no highlights. Thats how you end up feeling like life isnt enjoyable.Thats just my view and how I navigate.
