I was induced at 37 weeks with my first and struggled soooo bad and was told there’s a chance of it happening again so I want my body to be prepared at 37 weeks incase I’ve to labour early, people say to start at 35 weeks but that doesn’t seem enough time :(?

I don’t remember exactly when but I did the dates, raspberry leaf tea, clary sage oil, all of it and my induction and labor lasted Five days so I’m a strong believer that they do absolutely nothing 😅

I've been eating them on and off since the beginning of pregnancy. With my first, I ate them daily from about 32 weeks and had a fast and smooth labour and birth.. who knows whether that was actually why.

6 Medium size dates per day from 35 weeks gestation has been the only thing proven research wise to show greater cervical dilation at admission, and improved bishop score, shorter first stage of labour, higher likelihood of spontaneous labour vs induction.
I started eating the dates at 35 weeks, had a sweep at 40wks+5days, and was informed I was already 1cm dilated. By the time I was admitted to the hospital, I was 4 cms close to 5 cms dilated.

I went into labour 2 weeks early and was 8cm on arrival to the hospital with my first…. I SWORE it was the dates 😂
But my second went past his due date. I was 6cm dilated on arrival that time 🤷🏻♀️
I started at 35 weeks with both though .
