People commenting on bump size

I’m currently 23 weeks 4 days and have had so many comments recently about how “little” I am even though I am thinking I am showing a lot for my petite frame. It’s hard not to worry as I haven’t been able to eat loads due to ongoing nausea and food aversions but also snacking throughout each day and have been pushing to keep little girl healthy.

Have you had similar situations? When should I start worrying?

Honestly your bump looks normal for 23/24 weeks to me. I don't think I started showing at all until 20 weeks and even then it was a small bump. As long as you're not losing weight and feeling okay then I'd ignore the comments!

Don’t worry. I was like this with my LO and don’t show in my work uniform until 30 weeks. Ignore them

Thank you so much, I think it can be hard to focus on your instinct when everyone has an opinion, that’s so true! x

Everyone's bump is so different and it really doesn't tell you how big or small your little one will be so try not to worry! Feel like I had people commenting how small/big I was throughout my pregnancy and it can be a lot so definitely try to ignore the comments x

Welcome to entering the time of unwanted opinions wherever you go. When you become pregnant/have a baby everyone suddenly decides to voice exactly what they're thinking. 🤷🏼‍♀️ You look great and as long as you and baby are happy then you're all good. X

That’s so true! Really we should keep having each other’s backs! Lots of love x

Hugs hun sometimes babies can sit further back so it makes it appear smaller. However trust me it will start sticking out more further along. I wouldn’t worry. As long as you feel you are getting enough calories and also the baby is kicking away happily you are fine. Defo ring an assessment unit or speak to midwife is you’re unsure

Here’s a pro tip: bananas!!! Massively helps with sickness, game changer. Xxx

I’m 20 weeks and unless I have a tight T-shirt on you wouldn’t really know. Pretty much same with my first, I was all bump which suddenly appeared later on and from behind you couldn’t tell.
