I haven’t had any signs of labor yet and baby is due in 2 weeks. Does this mean I may be in for a long ride?
I don’t want to be pregnant anymore 😭 is it safe to try methods like curb walking to kickstart labor at this time?

No not at all. What signs are you looking for? I didn’t have any signs before having my first other then loosing my mucus plug 12 hours before labor.

ohh 😮 ok! I thought I should be having braxton hicks or something. I haven’t even been cramping. But my pelvic pain is so intense and persistent I want to give birth already so I can start healing

With my first I didn’t have anything but lost my mucus plug around 3 in the morning and immediately started getting labor signs but my water was broken at the hospital she came at 40 weeks exactly and now with this one no signs also 38 weeks so I’m expecting her to come on her due date exactly as well

You can try things but ultimately that baby is going to come when it does. it's best to try to get your mind off of it anyway you can. Stay busy, even if that means just binge watching TV or something like that. The time goes really slow when you're waiting. It's like watching a pot for boiling.

I didn’t have any Braxton hicks with my first but have been having them for over a month already and I’m also 38 weeks. BH don’t really mean anything and aren’t an indicator of labor. There really isn’t any actual signs of “pre-labor” other then labor😅 and you can definitely try various methods to “naturally induce” labor but nothing is a guarantee and it’s really just about your baby and body and when they’re ready. I do prenatal yoga, epson salt baths w/ magnesium, and long walks to help with pelvic pain.

Sometime it happens at the last minute I knew I was going to be going into labor soon because my body was just telling me and I had weird feelings in my stomach then the next day after a good walk I went into labor at 38 weeks and 5 days

My first went to 41+6, no signs of labor the day before. Water randomly broke at 5am on 41+4. At my 41w appt, I wasn't even dilated. Everyone is different lol

Not at all. You may not experience any signs or any noticeable signs until active labor actually begins whether it's your water breaking or true contractions. Yea, you could go over 40, but you could go into labor tonight for all you know! Anything is possible. You can try to "kickstart" labor, but it's not necessary, not guaranteed to work and it's best for baby to come when he/she is ready instead of rushing your body into it.

no, that doesn’t mean anything tbh! at this point baby could come at any time but most first time moms go over 40 weeks. any walking is good, gentle exercise and using a yoga might help too. i never had braxton hicks or anything, no signs of labor until i started contracting. and that was at 40+5.
try your best to enjoy the last few weeks, baby will be with you before your know it!

I had no signs at all and then my water broke in the middle of the night 😂 so you could be waiting or it could happen in two minutes
