Signed daughter up for a weekly dance class. The session is for 7 weeks and was 130$. They emailed us and said their competition team has to leave early than planned so tomorrow’s class is canceled.
I find this kind of weird that they didn’t mention rescheduling it or offering alternative. I get things happen. But I paid for 7 weeks.
Am i being too critical?
I’ve already had some other issues with this place and we have only been there once. So maybe I am just annoyed in general?

Yeah they should definitely reschedule. Even if that looks like 2 classes next week. Or, reimburse for that week. Extracurriculars are expensive!

If they didn't mention it, I would ask. Maybe they don't have an idea yet on when to do it and that's why they didn't propose it but they could have at least mention that they will be back to you with a new date for that class.

Both my kids are in gymnastics and generally the policy here is that they'll reschedule for cancellations on anything that isn't weather related. So if there is a water main break that caused the building to have to water it's rescheduled, but it won't be for a snow storm.
I would definitely reach out and ask them
