I’ve been using the RapidCool flask for formula feeding out and about, and wanted to make sure I’m doing it right. Is the correct way to add boiling water and the formula powder at the same time, then use within two hours once cooled to the appropriate temperature (using flask shake method)? Or adding formula powder just before point of feeding? Assuming it’s the same time as the boiling water so that the formula is sterilised…? Thanks x

Personally I use the hot shot method. I either bring out a thermal of boiling water or ask for some boiled water while in out. Then I fill up to say 240ml mark then pour 200ml of that water into the rapid cool and empty the formula powder in the remaining 40ml in the baby bottle so the hot water steralizes the powder. Then after 2-4 min the rapid cool will have cooled the water and I pour it back into the baby bottle and its perfect temp!

I think the correct method though is to make a bottle as you would normally and pour it into the rapid cool to bring it down to drinking temp.

I have just stopped formula but always did the same as - stops the need for sterilising the nuby!
