When you take your baby/toddler swimming, do you shower/wash them there (straight after) or wait until you get home?

I find it a faff trying to wash my toddler in the swimming pool facilities so wait until we get home and bath him then but I’m just curious what others do?

Just a quick rinse under the showers to get the chlorine off then proper bath when we get home x

Before 6 mo or if they have skin issues-shower there. Otherwise it's fine to just rinse and come home.

We both shower there fully I bring shampoo and conditioner and hairbrush and body wash and I take 10mins to shower. I can’t be bothered doing it at home so I do it there.

I want to do this but my 19 month old is a bit wild 🙈😂 so I rinse him really quickly and then bath him at home which is a pain but I find it too stressful to try and clean him properly in the pool.
Hopefully he’ll be less wild as he gets older and I’ll be able to do the same as you.
How old is your little one?

He’s 5 but I’ve been doing it since he was a baby. Usually I go w my bestie she has 2 kids 2yrs apart and she showers them there too, if I don’t I’m waiting 15mins for her so I might as well just do it too. We’ve always showered there. Last time we went to a water theme park from 10-6 it closes at 6 but we were one of the last ones walking out at 7 that’s when we finished showering and packing up lol.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Combi feeding advice

Has anyone gone from EBF to combi feeding? Currently do one bottle of EBM per night and they one half formula half breast milk mixed in the day. The other times she still feeds on me. Ideally I want to feed all day via bottle and all night with breast. She’s 7 weeks and takes a bottle well, how long should I leave it before adding another bottle to her daily routine?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰
