Is this too much skin for a wedding guest dress?

I have always disliked when wedding guests wear really short or overly booby dresses to weddings, maybe I am a bit old fashioned.

I really like this dress but it has a lower back than I'm used to. The dress itself is maxi. Is this okay for a wedding??

Agreed it’s perfect for a wedding!

No, it’s so cute!

I have more issue with the fact it’s black than the low back!

true! The black is a shame, I have two weddings to go to one in August and one in September so it's still quite summery. I just really liked the style of the dress!

Is wearing black to a wedding frowned upon in the UK?

Avatar

I like the style just not th colour, black doesn't set the weeding vibes to me, unless it's there theme

I haven’t heard of this no black to a wedding thing. I like the dress!

If it’s a western wedding then I see no issue , if it’s not then it may be frowned upon .

me either lol!

where did you get this dress it’s so pretty!

Black at a wedding isn't frowned upon, I think if you imagine a winter wedding it would be fine but when it's summertime I think bright colours are better - that's just preferences though. As always, the only rule is no white😬

It looks classy

No it’s not too much skin I show a lot more skin than this but not my style or type of dress but I see other mums liking it so wear it if you like it Xx

The style is fine for a wedding but try to get it in a different colour as black is a funeral colour
